Je cherche l'assurance pour ma RS500. Il y a un recommendation d'un enterprise d'assurance pour les marques Ford RS...? Je dois payer environ combien pour "limited mileage" (environ 3000km par an max) et "agreed value"...?

Hello,

I don't know if you can have a sort of "veteran" insurance because the rules are quite strict about veteran cars, and as the RS500 was never imported in Switzerland they will have troubles to find a correct rate for your car, but the best is to ask the most company you can to find the best one, at least its what I would be doing.

Thanks for the reply Xen. I think I will use a regular insurer. My contact at Allianz can insure it agreed value and he just did me a good price on my new 'Swiss' car.

As discussed offline Rupert, I would advise you to keep your UK registration and insurance for as long as you can. I believe you're allowed up to 12 months from initial entry into Switzerland. Also it should not be difficult to obtain a quote as even though the exact type of car was never imported, liability risk insurances in this country are almost solely based on cubic capacity.
