There you go Clayton... Just had to remove the spaces between the codes and the links...

Your new RS is absolutely stunning... As new as it gets... Congratulations on your purchase...

If I may ask, will it not be difficult to not drive it ever? I understand you sold the previous one... I know I wouldn't be able to just have it sitting in the garage and never drive it but I also agree it'd be a shame to put miles on an example as mint as that.

What's the story with the back seat hinges covers? My car seems to have them and I believe it's one of the early ones (no label on the starter button)... Did later cars come without them?

Thanks Nick for sorting the pictures out, much appreciated.

Yes it will be difficult to just own the car without diving it but I have had MK1 focus RS now for over six years so can't say I will miss it as much if you know what I mean. I just want to leave the car as it is and keep her in new condition for shows and National classic shows is what i will be doing with her.

I know it seem a shame but I have got my head round it and can resist the temptation.

Hello Nick again :-D

Good question regarding the hinge covers for the rear seat, this is why I have been asking for all cars build specs so we can compare cars against others at times of build. It would be good to get all the phase specs from the owners of the cars here so that i can add them to the build numbers.

If you go through all the build numbers on the website that show the hinge covers they were fitted right through production to build number 4501. There were many left without them including the car I have just sold which is a later build date to the one I have just purchased with the covers fitted.

So my conclusion on these now is that they were just missed on the build and should have had them fitted, maybe they ran out at times? I personally think they look better without them, but anyone that knows me will know that I will leave the car as it was like I did my last one.

Also Nick, just found one of your early threads after purchasing your FRS and would you mind me getting a page set up for your car on the website showing these pics in you thread as they are quality and she looks stunning.

Clayton, the page you set up for my car looks great... Thanks for that mate.

Thanks also for the template... I'll have to go to my car when I get some spare time and check all of the missing items...

Regarding mods my car only has a dual digital SPA Design oil pressure / water temp gauge kit including instrument cluster by GGR, the rest is standards...

Yes that's right... They were only lent to me for the track day so as to not eat up my road tires... It's back on its standard wheels now. 8)
